Blog Week 9…

Hey my dudes, me again OBVS… Week 9 already. I honestly have so much fun writing this blog on the regular. Today’s blog post is a little late as we went away this week and I decided to tattoo Danny today (partly for his birthday present and partly because i’ve been doing his sleeve for like a year and I hate working my days off but here we are)… This weeks post isn’t so much about work just because we’ve been away however I will still be showing you guys what tattoos I’ve done because obvs I have still been at work.

Okay so this week Danny and I went to the city of love (Paris) for 4 days. Honestly if we had listened to everyone else we would have never booked it nevertheless we had the absolute BEST time EVER!!! Also just wanna say thank you to Danny as he actually paid for us to go for my birthday which genuinely in the space of like 10 days don’t think he’s ever going to to able to top our surprise engagement and my birthday present to Paris again but never say never so…

We literally crammed everything we could into 4 days. We arrived Monday and found the hotel which was a 2 minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe honestly so stunning. I had no idea that there are unknown soldiers buried under it which is a cool fact. This week’s fun fact Friday’s was a busy one for me and Sam in the shop like. And no jokes the public transport system in Paris is incredible every train and bus was on time and we paid €35 each for the week.

Firstly on Tuesday we got up relatively early and headed to the Eiffel Tower for a little wonder around. It was a little chilly but not going to lie we didn’t mind, being from the North of England we are pretty used to it (yes Danny did walk around in shorts the whole time he was in full tourist mode 😂😂😂). So we had booked a few things to do while we were there as most of you know I am a major planner. After we ascended the Eiffel Tower we went for a walk around the streets of Paris. Got some super cute photos because how else are you meant to prove you’ve been to Paris??? I had to go visit the OG Louis Vuitton shop on the Avenue des Champs-Elysees too while we were there which was epic. Sadly I didn’t buy anything this time round but we’ll definitely be going back. On Tuesday we also visited the Catacombs such a crazy experience. For all our trips we use GetYourGuide app, for the Catacombs we had a guide who was sent from a company called Dreams and he was so helpful we even went to a lot of VIP parts of the Catacombs that were actually locked to most of the public. So that’s pretty cool. That night we had dinner at a super adorable cafe overlooking the Eiffel Tower which sparkled every hour so I’m buzzing we got to see that.

Wednesday we had a morning of shopping around, we visited Sainte Chapelle, Notre-Dame and the Louvre. I wanted to see the Mona Lisa which luckily we did but it was way too busy to stay in there and i’ve realised a lot of people from other countries are just way too rude for me. I feel as British people a lot of us are quite polite which is difficult when shit gets super busy. That night we went back for a nap then headed over to the Moulin Rouge, not to see a show because I definitely didn’t wanna pay £230 to go (not this time at least, maybe next time we will). We had a lovely walk around the city and back to the room ready for our last fun filled day.

Okay so Thursday we didn’t really have much planned we did go to Montparnasse Tower which i’m sure would be worth a visit when it wasn’t inside the clouds so it was a little bit of a wasted trip but we still had fun obvs I mean we always do tbf. We ended up having lunch in George V area of Paris then went up the Arc De Triomphe which 💯 is worth doing. All the streets coming off it are crazy to see from high up. However please if you go be prepared for the 1000 of steps to get to the top. We had no idea and well I was knackered by the time we got to the top 😅😅😅.

We headed to the airport ready to come and smush Coco’s face… Overall we would definitely recommend Paris. We had honestly the most amazing time. Just wait because in 2 weeks we are heading to our next destination.

I have tattooed a little this week so i’m sorry if you are here for the tatties but this week has been a little more adventure than work but we all gotta have a work life balance right???
