Blog Week 8…
Hey my dudes, how is this week 8 though? Absolutely insane… I honestly am shook at how many of you read my weekly blog, literally makes my heart melt. I didn’t think anyone would even be interested in it however as always you guys have proved me very wrong… Even people who aren’t my clients keep up to date with it, and honestly its the cutest shit ever!!! So honestly thank you so so so much 💕💕💕
Okay so this week no jokes has been pretty wild. I have met so many new and interesting people and have learnt so many new things that I had no idea about before which is another reason why I absolutely LOVE this job. Honestly everyone has such different backgrounds and shit and I am always super interested in everything you’ve all got to say. Makes tattooing so much more fun for me!!! Obvs I had some of you who I’d now say are regulars in this week too which is always nice to catch up and discuss all your new/next ideas.
I also got tattooed myself this week by the lovely Amreen (@browngirltatz) over at GirlsGirlsGirls (@girls.girls.girlstattooclub) which is literally up the road from us in Wakefield. We had such a fun time. Even though I work with a group of guys its always nice to have girl talk every once in a while so if you wanna visit them its an all girls tattoo studio in Wakefield run by Beth Wilde (@tattoosbybethwilde) who is super nice too I’ve also been tattooed by Beth before she does these crazy neon pink tattoos so if you’ve seen my little ghosty dude before and loved it as much as me go check her page out!!!
So back to this week, I’ve done some fun stuff at work. I finally got to finish Ash’s leg and arm sleeves off. We started his leg 4 years ago which actually was just going to be his thigh and a cover up, well to date we’ve done his whole leg sleeve and now arm sleeve. I like that he’s done the opposite leg-arm though which looks pretty cool!!!
I got to tattoo my coolest friend Misha this week too, we always have the most fun!!! Fun fact i’ve pretty much known Misha for 20 years nearly which is funny!!! Like I can’t believe how fast time is actually going no jokes. I’m sure you’ve all heard me mention Misha before because she makes the absolute best custom cakes/cookies I ever known!!! All my birthday cakes are made my Misha… Its so nice to see her smashing life, especially whilst she’s wrangling two crazy kids I honestly don’t know how she does it!!!
Oh just because it wouldn’t be a Rachel week without some sort of boring adult shit, my smart meter with British Gas hasn’t worked in forever and me & this dude from BG have finally figured it out and got it working… This dude has been coming to sort it out since October which is funny. Like I honestly don’t know why companies are genuinely so shit nowadays but here we are… Anyone else think customer service in general has just gone extremely down hill since covid. Like I don’t get it if you don’t like your job do something different because you are literally making life harder for everyone else not just yourself!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Oooo nearly forgot to mention me & Danny have actually decided we are going to get married in the big apple!!! NYC here we come baby… No we haven’t booked anything or even looked into it very much (we are in no major rush) I just know I have to get married in New York its by far my favourite city I’ve ever visited and well Danny hasn’t been before and I’m pretty sure he’s happy as long as i’m happy I mean i’m sure his favourite saying is now “Happy wife, happy life” 😂😂😂 Also if anyone has already been married and got any tips or info on dresses or anything please holla at me, as I genuinely have NO IDEA where to start!!!
